We “Run and Support” and win medals – summary of the 28th Sambor Street Run and Grand Prix of the Tczew Poviat
On 3 November 2018 the Press Glass “Run and Support” team participated in the 28th Sambor Street Run in Tczew. The amount of 2640 PLN collected by running will support the pupils of the Complex of Special Education Schools in Tczew.
Nearly 350 people, including 33 Press Glass employees took part in this year’s Sambor Street Run. Patryk Sowiński was the fastest of all members of the “Run and Support” team and was ranked as the 3rd in the Open category.
After the official medal awarding ceremony for the Sambor Street Run, the street run Grand Prix of the Tczew Poviat was wrapped up. It is worth mentioning that the results of this year’s Sambor Street Run contributed to the general Grand Prix run statistics. The prerequisite for being classified in the Grand Prix of the Tczew Poviat was participation in 4 out of 6 street runs which took place between 12 May and 3 November, with the Sambor Street Run in Tczew being the last event in the series.
The following three members of the Press Glass “Run and Support” team were listed among the winners:
– Patryk Sowiński was ranked as the 1st in the Open category,
– Kamil Derlaga was ranked as the 3rd in the 0-29 Males category,
– Andrzej Potoczek was ranked as the 2nd in the 30-39 Males category.
The Grand Prix was organised by the Pelplin Sports Centre, Tczew Sports and Leisure Centre and the Poviat Sports Centre in Tczew.
We want to congratulate all members of the “Run and Support” team on their excellent stamina. Although the Sambor Street Run in Tczew is the last group run in this calendar year, we encourage everybody to individual participation.
