Tychy races with the participation of the Run and Support team
On September 2 this year, employees of PRESS GLASS, as part of the sports and charity campaign “Run and Support”, for the fourth time took part in two runs in Tychy, organized by the local City Sports and Recreation Centre: 20th Tychy International Street Run and 7th Tychy Halfmarathon. The amount of PLN 2630 “run” by PRESS GLASS employees will be divided and donated to the beneficiaries of two Tychy institutions: the Silesian Hospice for Children Foundation and St. Calixte I Hospice Social Society.
More and more runners gather for street runs in Tychy each year. This year, more than 1,300 runners in total stood on the start line in two runs at distances of 10 km and 21 km, including the representation of PRESS GLASS.
“Runs in Tychy is our company’s tradition – here is our production plant and here – in the colours of the campaign ” Run and Support”, our team participates in the race each year. For some people, running is a way of life – for us it is a combination of the sports passion and the opportunity to help those in need. This year, the PRESS GLASS team “Run and Support” was represented by 20 employees and, what is worth noting, as many as 18 have chosen to participate in the halfmarathon. We are glad that our fitness did not fail us, we have managed to complete the competition in a great mood and collect a nice amount for charity,” says Anna Poznańska, one of the participants of the campaign.
