Glass for the Ronald McDonald House Charities
In September, the Ronald McDonald House Charities launched in Poland construction of a new free hotel for the families of sick children. To support the foundation, we are going to supply over 100 glass panes which will allow for window and door joinery works.
The hotel will operate at the University Children’s Hospital of Cracow. This is going to be the first “home away from home” which will be built in Poland upon the initiative of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Over 300 of this type of buildings have been built in various countries for the last four decades.
This investment will be supported by 113 (of total surface area 300 m2) manufactured in our plants, including: – thermal insulating glazed units and selective solar control glasses 70/35, protection class P2A and safety class 1B1 (for external windows); – toughened floatglass (for interior glazing); – fire-resistant glass of class EI30, designed for interiors (partitions).
