For us, corporate social responsibility means investing in human resources and building relationships in the community. Press Glass supports worthwhile local initiatives to help balance opportunities such as helping people with disabilities, the elderly and those with a difficult start.
We believe that such activities contribute to the expression of our social responsibility. We are proud that our employees also undertake charitable and social activities on their own initiative. Among such initiatives, we highlight, for example, ”Szlachetna Paczka”, helping refugees and volunteering at homeless animal shelters.

WE CARE ABOUT OUR HEALTH
As a responsible employer, we strive to look after the health of our employees and promote an active lifestyle.
On the initiative of employees in 2017, during the 11th Bicycle Ride in Tczew, we officially inaugurated the “Sport and Support” campaign, which expanded the current “Run and Support” campaign with new sports disciplines, including Nordic walking, cycling, football and volleyball. Behind the concept is an idea combining the desire to promote an active lifestyle among the company’s employees and to support charity. The initiative is becoming more and more popular with employees every year, giving us the opportunity to fulfil two missions: charitable and pro-worker.
At Press Glass, we have the opportunity to benefit from various additional benefits such as a MultiSport card subsidy, a daily SmartLunch meal subsidy, access to healthcare professionals through our private insurance and group insurance.
WE HELP BECAUSE WE ENJOY DOING IT
In the busyness of everyday life, we do not forget about those most in need.
Press Glass donated glass for, among other things, the extension of the ”Siemacha Foundation” building in Odporyszów and for the renovation of the rehabilitation part of the ”Dom Oczami Brata” building in Częstochowa.
Thanks to the commitment of our employees, help flows to the poorest. We support the annual ”Szlachetna Paczka” campaign, take part in collections such as the #GaszynChallenge. We support various actions initiated by our employees, including helping victims of the war in Ukraine or collecting plastic bottle caps.
Nor are we indifferent to the needs of those who cannot ask for help themselves. This is evidenced by the in-kind and financial collections regularly organised in our branches for the benefit of needy pets. Due to the ever-growing number of animal lovers, the campaign has been extended to include volunteering. Our employees visit local shelters for homeless animals, where they offer them what is most valuable – time and attention.
Particularly noteworthy is the achievement of one of our employees, who ran a distance of 260 kilometres in 43 hours to support the ”Malborskie Stowarzyszenie Przyjaciół Zwierząt Reks”. He sacrificed his strength in the hope that others would appreciate his efforts and donate to the pets. We are proud because he has inspired more people to help the Association e.i. raising funds for children through a 24-hour run.
SAFETY IS A PRIORITY
The care of working conditions and the health of our employees is of particular importance to us. Our efforts include all necessary measures aimed at ensuring and continuously improving safe and hygienic working conditions. One of the most important tasks in this respect is the reduction of occupational risks and the prevention of accidents at work. Glass is an extremely fragile raw material which requires a very thorough and careful approach. For this reason, Press Glass provides frequent health and safety training. We inspect the production process on a daily basis, identifying risks and assessing compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. We continually test new personal protective equipment solutions to enhance employee safety. We take full responsibility for ensuring proper working conditions.
EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE
High-quality education makes people better able to cope in their daily and professional lives, have more opportunities, allows them to make more informed choices and makes them less susceptible to manipulation. That is why we want modern education that focuses on the competences of the future and responds to the real needs of people.
A well-functioning education system is important for increasing equality of opportunities and creating conditions for a better start in adult life. Education should follow the changing reality and teach things that are useful today and may be useful tomorrow, thus looking to the future. The practical dimension of education is also important, so that young people are ready to function in the world of innovative technologies, rapidly changing realities of the labor market or modern communication methods.
