A successful start of the action Run and support
At the 7th Częstochowa Run that was held on 11 April 2015 in Częstochowa (Poland) we officially started the action “Run and support”. The PRESS GLASS team was composed of 74 persons. The financial support was provided for medical treatment of children who fight serious sicknesses, selected by the participants in the action.
There were over 1000 runners in the 7th Częstochowa Run. The PRESS GLASS team which inaugurated the action “Run and support” was by far the largest organised group to participate in the run. It was Przemysław Porada (129th position) who covered the distance of 10 km in the shortest time. Among women (581st position) the best result was achieved by Sylwia Krysiak.
For each person who ran in our team and finished the run we provided a fixed amount for charity purposes. There was an additional bonus for the results which an extra incentive to the runners. Overall the team managed to “run” the amount of PLN 5652.
As decided by the participants in the run, the funds were contributed to support the treatment of Madzia (assistance provided by the Children’s Foundation “Help in Time” and the Association for Those in Need “Pass It On”) and of Oliwka (assistance provided by the Children’s Foundation “Help in Time”).
