Glazing of the One New Bailey building
In Salford (UK) works have been completed on a modern office complex of One New Bailey. The eight-storey building was developed with the application of 4500 m² of glass of our make. The glass façades provide the employees with comfort while ensuring reduced energy consumption by the building.
The investment was completed as a part of a larger revitalisation and modernisation project of the town of Salford, located in the county of Greater Manchester. Constructed on the basis of a design developed by Aedas RHWL the facility is a part of a new business and entertainment centre.
One New Bailey stands out with its modern design, simplicity and aesthetic finish. The designers have decided to apply various glazing and therefore the office building has an increased access to daylight which favourably affects working conditions.
The building is among the most pro-ecological investments of the recent years. The design was based on a specification compliant with the most recent BREEAM Excellent guidelines, developed by the Building Research Establishment. As a result, the One New Bailey office complex is friendly to the natural environment. The result was possible also due to the application of appropriately selected solar control glass.
The building was completed at the beginning of June 2016.
