Successful start of the “Sport and Support” team in the 29th Sambor Street Run
This year, for the fifth time the PRESS GLASS “Sport and Support” team took part in the Sambor Street Run in Tczew (Poland). The 10K run took place on November 9, 2019 and the money raised in the amount of PLN 3,870 will be donated to the children of the following institutions in Tczew: Special Facilities Complex and “Ogród Nadziei” Association.
Over 300 competitors, including 43 employees of PRESS GLASS, took part in this year’s edition of the Sambor Street Run.
The event resulted in a high turnout and a high amount of money raised for charity as well as in individual sports successes of PRESS GLASS employees.

– Andrzej Zogrodnik took fifth place in category “M 40-49”
– Alan Michalski took fifth place in category “M 0-29”
The organiser of the campaign decided to transfer the raised money to two institutions:
The Special Facilities Complex in Tczew is a special education institution for children with intellectual disabilities, autism and multiple disabilities, conducting therapeutic and rehabilitation classes. During their stay at the facility, the pupils are provided with specialist care of oligophrenopedagogues, neurologopedists, psychiatrists, educators, and therapists.
Ogród Nadziei Association in Tczew is an organisation supporting in particular patients requiring hospice care. The association also deals with the training of volunteers, especially in the field of palliative and rehabilitation care.
