EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Press Glass is a manufacturing company that values the skills and personality of the employee. As a result, we are distinguished by the high proportion of women not only in administrative positions, but also in production positions. Our long-standing presence on the market and the hundreds of people we employ have convinced us that we are building an organisation whose greatest strength is its people. We are committed to developing our employees, integrating them better and creating a friendly atmosphere.
We pride ourselves on contributing to equal opportunities and creating valuable jobs. We support our employees by improving their qualifications, providing participation in development programmes and the opportunity to participate in internal recruitment.
ELIMINATING THE PAY GAP
A feature of sustainable management at Press Glass is the equalisation of pay for the same positions, both office and production, regardless of gender.
DECISION-MAKING INDEPENDENCE
We are a global company with divisions in many countries on different continents. Responding to the market needs of a particular country, we focus on diversified management. Each plant and company within Press Glass Holding SA is structured to be managed independently. The company’s mission is, among other things, to increase competitiveness through independent decision-making. Local employees understand the market best, so they have a high degree of decisiveness, they have a defined objective they want to achieve, and they know what values the company is guided by. This business model builds trust and fosters a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. A flat structure means that there can be more involvement in decision-making with less supervision. We have eliminated excess layers in the structure to improve communication, coordination and better project implementation.
BUSINESS ETHICS
We aim to act with honesty and transparency in every aspect of our business.
At Press Glass companies, we have established Codes of Conduct, the enforcement of which is overseen by an independently elected Ethics Committee. Each of our employees has a duty and responsibility to report behaviour that violates the Code. Employees are encouraged to respond, i.e. to speak up and raise concerns about the conduct described in our Code. Each employee has the right and responsibility to do so. We create modern, safe and friendly workplaces, as evidenced not only by the Code of Ethics, but also by the Anti-Bullying Policy, the Quality Code, the Training Policy and the Health and Safety at Work Policy.
