We are all responsible!
Since 2007 our production has been complying with the global environmental protection system ISO 14001.
The fact that we have also joined the “resources SAVED” programme intended to protect natural resources by recycling is testimony to our activities dedicated to environmental protection.
According to calculations made by Interseroh, which is an independent verifying unit, PRESS GLASS saved natural resources including plastics, steel, paper, and wood as well as reduced emission of greenhouse gases in amount of:

WHY IS IT WORTH PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT?
Performing daily activities, we may affect the environment. Driving cars, preparing meals, washing, dish washing or turning the light on at home – all are examples of such activities. Pursuing rational management of what we have been given by nature and correctly handling waste, we contribute to a better life. We also reduce our bills for electricity, water, gasoline or waste disposal. We win our own health and save money!
WHAT HAVE WE BEEN CHANGING TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT?
In order to mitigate environmental impact, we make modifications to product manufacturing and to our habits. In order to facilitate the process, we have adopted the global system of actions protecting the environment (ISO 14001). Whenever we talk about ISO 14001, about environmental policy or environmental management, that will mean we are referring to environmental protection.
WHAT DO WE GAIN BY HAVING IMPLEMENTED THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ISO 14001?
By implementing the ISO 14001 system, we contribute to activities supporting environmental protection that are now in excess of the requirements of law in number of countries:
- we segregate waste to enable safe disposal or recovery of such waste
- we reduce consumption of natural resources
- we prevent any penetration of hazardous liquids to soil and water
- our customers get products that are not burdensome to the environment
- we improve the image of our Customers
