The 6th Radomszczański Run with strong support of the “Run and Support” team
On June 24, 2018, the sixth edition of Radomszczański Street Run was held, and thus, the fourth Radomszczański group run of the employees of PRESS GLASS as part of the “Run and Support” campaign took place. This year, 21 employees of PRESS GLASS faced a distance of 10 km. The organizers of the “Run and Support” campaign decided to support the operation of two institutions in Radomsko with their run.
Although the running distance did not change, this year a new route, consisting of two loops of 5 km, awaited the participants of the run. The start and finish line were located at Św. Królowej Jadwigi Street, where the local Sports Hall is located.
Over 120 people took part in the run. The employees of PRESS GLASS in the colours of the “Run and Support” campaign were a large representation – statistically every sixth participant in the run represented our colours.
In the general classification, Michał Maciejewski took the highest (5th) place among the PRESS GLASS runners. Among the ladies, Katarzyna Szwedzik reached the finish line the fastest.
For each employee who reached the finish line of this group run, PRESS GLASS committed to donate a certain amount and the equivalent of the paid start fee to charity. The PRESS GLASS team “ran” in total PLN 1680. These funds will be transferred in equal parts to the beneficiaries of two facilities in Radomsko: Stowarzyszenie Rodziców i Opiekunów Osób Niepełnosprawnych (the Association of Parents and Carers of the Disabled) “Koniczynka” and the “Przyjazna Planeta” Foundation.
